Magic Cookie Bars, a la Cat!

Now, I know everyone is probably familiar with this recipe, so why did I choose this recipe first???  Because it's one of my all-time favorites....and because it reminds me of how we used to beg our Aunt Pat to make sure she had them made for our family reunion every summer when we were kids........and because my sweet friend, Mary, always talks about how good my version of these are.....and well, they are just so darned good!  That should be reason enough!  Besides, I don't know anyone who doesn't like them........

They certainly aren't gourmet, but I dare you to turn one down if I make them for you.........uh-uh, won't happen! LOL!
